On what kind of transporter will my
vehicle be carried? Most are transported on the same type of
carriers used to transport new vehicles from the assembly point to the
dealership.
How long does
it take to have my vehicle transported? We ask for a
"1 week notice" for pickup if possible. Please allow a 2-3 day
window, the driver calls in advance to schedule. Transports
under 1200 miles are estimated at 1 week, typically delivering
in 3-5 days. Transports over 1200 miles are estimated at 7-14
days, typically averaging 7-10 days for delivery. Please

Is my vehicle insured? For your protection,
Cheap-Dispatch ! Auto Transport Inc. only uses carriers that
provide full complete bumper-to-bumper insurance.
What
steps are involved in shipping my vehicle? Once your order
is placed , the transport of your vehicle will be scheduled using the
dates you have provided on your shipping order. After a truck has been
assigned, you will receive a call from the driver to schedule a pickup
time . When the driver picks up your vehicle he will with your
representative perform a detailed inspection of your vehicle. This will
be signed by both parties, a copy will be left with the party releasing
the vehicle. The Bill of Lading will be present on delivery so that the
vehicle can be re-inspected before being released. The driver will call
12-24 hours in advance to schedule the delivery of the vehicle.
Will my vehicle be picked up or delivered to a terminal?
In most cases your vehicle will be picked up directly by the carrier it
is transported on. Although terminals are insured additional loading and
unloading of the vehicle increases the possibility of damage to your
vehicle.
Can I leave items in the vehicle?
Items left in the vehicle are not covered by carrier insurance. You can,
at your own risk place up to 100 lbs in the trunk area of the
vehicle, we do not recommend packing high value or fragile items.
How can I verify that a carrier has a proper government license
and bond to conduct business? Visit the Federal Motor
Carrier Safety Administration on their website at
www.safersys.org. Type in the MC# to verify.
